Three people have died and two remain missing in a series of drowning incidents across New South Wales beaches over two days. Sushan Khadka, a Nepalese student in his early 20s, disappeared at Coogee Beach after being caught in a rip with friends, while 45-year-old Sydney hairdresser Melissa Austin drowned at Dunbogan Beach on the mid-north coast while trying to help her son.
