Israel has struck Iran's state-run television station during a live broadcast overnight, after Iran fired a new wave of missiles at Israel that killed at least eight people. Israel had warned hundreds of thousands of people in Tehran to evacuate ahead of the strike against the TV station, which the military says provided a cover for Iranian military operations. The Israeli military is now claiming it has achieved air superiority above the Iranian capital. Meanwhile, Iran says it has launched about 100 missiles and has vowed further retaliation.
